@@AmericanAbroad1 As we are not spring chickens lol over 60 my wife finds it easier getting on and off the bike, we recently had a 1200 mile trip around Scotland in rain and sleet as you can imagine regularly stopping for coffee during our up to 10 hour daily rides. They are very waterproof, and soft when the wife caught her legs getting on and off.

@@fonso1961 ah very true. Also if I dropped the bike I would rather have my leg stuck under a soft pannier than aluminum haha. Would love to ride Scotland one day… if it would not rain haha

@fonso1961 I have a 1250 GSA and am considering these and had 2 questions. a. How stable are the bags at speed? Do they buffet and move around at all? b. How well does the right side bag fit over the non-flat frame over the exhaust? Still ok?

Hi great review are these the large or medium bags cheers.

So the installation is based on those straps on the back?
@AmericanAbroad16 ай бұрын
Correct. These are a great budget friendly option. I now have the Gigi trekker outback cases and they are top!

Hi…how are they holding up in real world use….reason I ask is they look like they might flop around a bit on the frames ? Also same question re the Givi quick release system….im currently running the traditional Givi Monokey framework on my Pan America and pondering wether to fit the quick release kit, for cosmetic purposes, as I can really only see my using the Givi soft pannier sim testing out(grt720) a couple of times a year!

Hi there, So I used the Lomo’s for 8 months. Never took them off. They never really flopped around. They are kind of rigid on the back and as long as you have them on snug your good. If you keep a little something inside it helps. The quick release givis are all I run now. They are awesome! So easy to get on and off. If I’m late to go somewhere and I don’t want to use them it’s not going to add any time to my gear up to take them off or throw them on. Although I normally keep them on. Hope this helps

Matt, I love the occasional review, and that includes the ebike you took some heat for. I love the Diggly pannier, but being a Scrambler owner wish it was even bigger, I guess having only one pannier is the price I pay for a cool bike, and a warm right leg. Oh and stop being a sissy about the weather, Dobbs was out riding in it don't you know 😉😉

There are cheaper options

Man thanks for your input. Can you help us out and post a link to the cheaper option? I always enjoy testing new products. Plus I’m sure some people want to know. Thanks again

@@AmericanAbroad1 no, but if you browse the web you'll find them. They're all made in China anyway.
