What is the difference between the "Londinium profile" and the "Slayer shot"?

They are essentially emulations of the respective machines. The Londinium is a more lever style shot (pressure based) while the slayer shot is flow based.

@@decentespresso I am emulating Slayer with my E61 FCD by pre-infusing with slightly open faucet for 20-25 sec (until the first drops or 3 gr in the cup). How to emulate Londinium with E61 FCD (if that is possible at all)?

@@MichaelZuskin open it fully for couple of sec, till you see first drop, and then close it completely and leave it for a while, and then again open like traditional shot, like 8-9bars till you get like 1:2-1:3 depending on a roast level. I do something like that on my synchronica with fc.

@@MichaelZuskin не није, ако си пажљиво слушао, лондонијум је веома сличан блооминг профилу, са том разликом да код лондомиума пак бива ударен великом количином воде и готово тренутно се натопи и горњи и доњи део пака. Заправо лондониум апарат тако функционише, кад се полуга спусти на пак се излије велика количина воде. Код блооминг еспреса није толики проток. То је карактеристично само за лондонијум.

Not sure that you are correct in terms of stealing ideas from other people, the LR 24 has many more assets than how you have described this

He wasn’t referring to the company stealing anything, he meant that the Londinium profile that Damian made “stole” the preinfusion parameters from the Blooming profile Rao did. I was confused at first well but after listening to this again I understood what he meant.
