Well 7000 of around 8000 indian restaurants in the UK are bangladeshi owned. Reason why theyre labelled indian is we were once part of india and it just stuck and thats what the nations used to. So most british people are eating food cooked by bengalis lol

£569 absolute bargain ! US Bangla Airlines, Dhaka to Sylhet would cost another £30-50. Bangladesh Biman Airlines are charging £1400+ at the moment. Fleecing the bangladeshi diaspora for a direct flight to Sylhet.

Flight was delayed in Manchester, landed in jeddah ushered along by a very rude man at the airport to rush through security, boarded the plan, they made us wait 4 hours on the plane, with no food, no water, no ac and then told us that we would need to get off a board another plane that was at the other end of the airport, for whoever asked me to elaborate

Bruh stop with the India-nization of Bangladeshi things. Who calls chanachur Bombay mix srsly smh. Like we know you sylhetis gotta do that for some reason in the UK to push Bangladeshi food out of restaurants but should try to do better at least when in Bangladesh as a Bangladeshi yourself tbh. Not an issue if you’re not well versed in Bangladeshi customs and appreciate the desire to explore your heritage but stop approaching things in Bangladesh thru an Indian lens. The food here has its own unique stories.
