Hi Colin and Tim OMG Guys you bought it all back tonight, I lived in Woking for 10 years and started my legal career there, its changed, but not that much. Its a lovely quite commuter town, and being just half an hour from London was very popular. Its night life is not great most people went up the road to Guildford for the night clubs etc. Any way I digress, the hotel you stayed in was very nice, and a clever idea by Colin. Not sure about the parking but Ibis at Wembley can be a very cheap option in London if there is nothing on at the stadium or the arena. There is plenty parking there but I always fly or train it to London as I'm in Scotland. It's about 20 mins into Central London on the Metropolitan Line. Tons of places for food and drink due to the stadium and arena being there as well

Its a good way to do London I've seen premier inns in London at £200 plus a night quite often and would not pay that. 🍻

Great money-saving way to visit London guys! I'm lucky as having lived in London for many years I still have friends there so can stay with them, however a money-saving trick I have discovered is if I fly from Belfast where I live now over to GB instead of going to London I fly to Birmingham and then get the cheaper train that goes via Northampton - straight into Euston and the centre of things. It takes a bit longer but it's often a lot cheaper.

How do lads. Nice seeing you both up & at it in London. I was wondering if you were going to mention the bed & bedding. I saw an advert years ago Premiere telling the public that their sleeps are 2nd to no-one. Though not if you leave your light on! I used to stay in a lot of hotels & Premier offer the best bed, quilts & pillows. I was converted - I've even looked to buy a bed online bit they're £££. You are both looking well, these get away vlogs do me the world of good - makes me think I've gone out also & I get the chance to look & stare at things you come across. Did you go for a meal? Anyway - loved the vlog. Both take care, keep warm - until the next blog.

Excellent idea staying out of London but within easy reach by train. Having never been to Woking I've googled info about i. 60% of the borough is covered by greenbelt land and it has a large Italian population.

Woking, like Birmingham council, is bankrupt. Coming from the North, I would head to Reading. Same distance from London -you have non stop and commuter trains into Paddington and Waterloo. Had a lovely Argentinian steak for a pre Christmas meet up with a friend on Tuesday. Have stayed in the Ibis near the station (when the trains were on strike the day I arrived home from Thailand)
