Incredible diversity reflected in the food offerings. And much pride taken in the food prep, as this would be a reflection of one's culture and even one's own being. And the consistently overcast skies pretty much guarantees that the colors captured will be vibrant. Another excellent video, settime.

Love your videos. I would be interested to see how walking around recording video like that works here in Germany. In my town you would catch a lot of negative feedback for it. Germans have a "different" outlook when it comes to making videos of them and including those on a KZbin channel.

Oh they had a quick tidy up for the camera,last time I went there ,it all looks very friendly and pretty but there is a underlying trend to overcharge short change and sneer behind your back the food is all bought from the eu and sold here ,cheaply made smothered in salt and sugar,you can buy a hot dog a large one that's £5 on avarege but costs around £1.50 to make,

The only 2 Guide Books to anywhere that are not mainstream tourist tat are Rough Guides and Lonely Planet. Rough Guides does a separate guide to London. It is updated every few years. You'll find it cheapest on eBay or Amazon.

Street food is supposed to be easy-to-make and cheap food that you can find on the streets. In poor countries, at least, it's exactly like that. Funny how when you walk the streets of the cradle of imperialism, the definition suddenly becomes "restaurant moved out to the streets".
@adambrown36617 жыл бұрын
gilardes I think you have mistaken imperialism with multiculturalism.

so much of this, you see the same types of stalls all over with people working them that clearly haven't worked a day in a kitchen in their lives, all dressed up as though they are independent traders, the reality is they work for minimum wage for groups that have multiple stores and a large production kitchen somewhere.

Rip off. It´s VERY rare when you can find good food on the street at decent prices. Restaurants charge the prices they do because of overhead, these stalls take 10% off, if anything, and say it´s a bargain. It ain´t.

avoid half of these street traders, nothing more than corporate companies masquerading as independent sellers employing minimum wage workers to man their stalls, half the food isn't even self made, just bough in crap from a wholesaler pretending to be handmade. support the independent street traders, you can spot them a mile off
