I have just arrived from London and these prices are very accurate! Except for the pint... I used to pay 5. But all the other things, exactly the prices I found. For food I found cheaper to buy frozen meals at a supermarket. They are delicious and I used to pay around 4 for them.

I like Leon for healthier fast food options and market stalls like Spitalfields, Brick Lane, Camden, Borough (among others) for affordable meals, a lot of restaurants have 12.5% service charge which is not always clearly advertised, so your £9.95 meal will actually cost £11.19, if you are on a budget this is something to consider.

I thought London was the most expensive city in the world? These prices are mostly cheap compared to where I live in the US... either cheap or the same. I'm in the state of Colorado. Thank you for this video. I feel much better about traveling there now :)

I have an idea for future videos... Some of the scenery and views are great in the vids. Maybe add the location of filming to the description, so people can go to that same place for those same views. As I assume the majority of viewers aren't local to London, it would also give them ideas of somewhere to go :)

Great idea with this video. You can use UBer for 15GBP for a ride of 30 mins. Or pay 5GBP for a pint of beer in London Brdge. It will cose you 3.9GBP to use the tube form zone 2 to zone 1 on rush hour. It wll coset you 4-5GBP to use the ferry from zone 2 to zone 1.

1:13 For the Americans (like me): "paracetamol" is what we call "acetaminophen" (aka Tylenol). The expensive name brand in the UK is called "Panadol". They are exactly the same thing. And as in the US: if you can, buy generic.

Holy Crap!! Gas!! I did the conversion rate plus converted litres to gallons and WOW!! It’s something like $6.25 USD!! Per gallon!! That’s more than double!! It’s literally almost triple what I’m currently paying for gasoline!! I’m paying $2.35 USD for 4 litres.

This is very helpful, Syrus! I love fish&chips, and when I'm in London, as a tourist, I see f&c for 18.95 in 2-3 places, then when I see 14.50, I think it's very cheap! :) Can I find 8.50 f&c in Central London?
