London Buses at the Euro Bus Expo 2024

I haven't gone to one of these events for about 15 years, so decided it was about time I did! The main difference? The marked lack of UK bus manufacturers and the dominance of the Chinese - Yutong and BYD certainly pulled out all the stops. Wrightbus, Optare and Switch all opted to stay at home, but I suppose if your order books are full and you have no new models to launch, why go to the considerable expense of exhibiting at an event like this?
As I mention in the video, an exhibition is a difficult place to film in, because there are just so many busy people with more on their mind than keeping out of the way of photographers. Next time, I'll try to get to the press preview!
Anyway, I hope the video is still watchable.
PS I've cheated a little bit by putting in the ADL E400EV footage from Bromley Garage Open Day. Being shoved away in the darkest corner of a garage serves as an interesting contrast to the bright lights and glitz of a major exhibition, but the E400EV scores highly on style and impact, and makes its rivals look very dull by comparison.
