The new 358 looks expensive to repair following a accident.

Nice vid.Also,the new 358 looks nice and ugly for me at the same time because although its design is great,its not my style

How long does the pantograph stay on those ie’s ? Is it literally for say 8mins?
@astock5000Ай бұрын
Can't 100% confirm this, but I've seen reference to 6 minutes or so to top up the amount of charge used for one end to end journey, the buses being able to do two round trips between charging if necessary (also helps with short turns etc). The max frequency of route 358 is 12 minutes, and there is only one pantograph at each terminus, so a full charge in one go wouldn't be operationally convenient however.

@@astock5000Ah! Cheers for the explanation! It’ll be interesting to see how things run going forward as of course the Mercs and some E200 are still in service alongside these IE’s

I much prefer the older London buses including the double decker buses.

I can't tell of the new 358 buses are ugly or cool
@christinelilou6130Ай бұрын
Id say both tbh

I'd say they look good, perhaps aside from the low-level glazing, but they certainly are unconventional
