For someone who has only listened to Drum and Bass for about 2 years now and loves every bit of it, it's nice to hear tunes from 2003 that I've never heard before, to know how Drum and Bass has evolved over time, This is amazing really, thank you for uploading it.

Okay.. heres my story on Drum and Bass... I live in Chicago and recently visited Wellington New Zealand and eventually found myself backpacking in the southern island as time went on.. I met up with strangers at Lake taupo that were blaring London! I asked who they were and got into a huge music topic... came back to the states and have been jamming to them ever since!

if you're looking for older tunes that are unbelievable look up "Tokyo Dawn" by Doc Scott. It came out in '96, but it still sounds like it's from the future

@DanioOoX As with any genre, it goes through an evolutionary process. I love the old stuff, and I love much of the new stuff, but for different reasons. There's certainly no way I could fully appreciate the current stuff the way I do if the 90s stuff from Hype, Zinc, etc. hadn't gotten me into the genre.

if you read my second post carefully, you would notice that I am saying that people who want to know more about this genre are going to come across the mainstream drum and bass producers and that will make them turn away from it in a split second (I don't know, maybe some teens do enjoy mind rapture), but I'd prefer to have them listen to Calibre - Even If or some D. Kay's jazz funk tune and experience the beauty MsDos & dBase Liquid DNB Session Ep 43 => no, no, this genre has a LOT to offer :)

@HELLYEAHJOHN I mean, yes, there are some great artists still producing great tunes, but I think that someone looking for drum and bass tunes to see what the genre offers, if going to find either some new camo and crooked (yuck) or "Did you mean: Dubstep?"

from your posts it looks like you like drum and bass enough to defend it but it also seems that you don't believe that it has a future. It seems that your opinion about what the genre has to offer is based on mass media or just typing ' drum and bass' on google. Your opinion is uneducated. From liquid to neuro there are tons of amazing artists and talent. In fact drum and bass has more quality now than ever. You're sticking your head into the sand and saying that dirt is all there is
