Let me know if you have any questions about London in the comments!

also the first bit where it says “i wander through” has a double meaning since “wander” sounds like wonder which suggest the speaker is immediately questioning the state of london since it’s meant to be seen as a beautiful place

Your analysis is awsome and I have learned a lot from these videos, but if you can include a comparison with another poem which goes parallel with the poem you analyse, that would be helpful as well,I really love these videos ❤

‘chartered’ was a loaded word in the 19th century as it was relevant to the time. it refers to the transferring of public land into private land, almost monopolising it, which blake was very critical of.

hey, im in yr 10 to with my first mocks next month too. I’ve tried different paragraph structures but the one that helped me the most was the PRTEZEL by mr everything english. What I struggle with the most is linking back to the question and analysing more quotes effectively. Hopefully with more practise I’ll get there. I love this channel too. I hope this helps a bit.

@@rica7328 tysm i appreciate it alot 😭😭😭😭i think for the link back to the question your quote analysis primarily should be related to the question and make sure the quote you use is judicious and well selected to fit the question. to link it back i think you should use key words from the question that you are being asked or if not use words synonymous to the key words in the question. for example if its asking for you to present power in the poem then your link should very much focus on using the word power or any synonyms for it in the link section of your pretzyl paragraph, so that your link fits the question well. i hope we get there😭😭😭😭

I LOVE your videos they are super helpful I have so much of a better understanding of all the poems, so thank you so much🤍 just one question... my english teacher said I need to remember 5 quotes per poem not 3, but surely I don't need 5 as in the exam, you only need 2 quotes am I right?

Please I’m here to ask if it’s possible for you to analyse hawk roosting by Ted Hughes and valentine by Carol Ann Doffy. Please with a cherry 🍒 on top. I really need you to that because your analysis always help me in my exams and I’m very grateful 😇. Thanks a lot
