Entirely agree. their music and style are too intimate to cross the threshold that would lead them to wider recognition. The problem is that, for that, she would have to change the band, or a new manager who would break everything: and just keep the crystal that is her voice to adorn it with a big machine with sharp hits.

One of the best things about London Grammar is I never get the feeling that each part is trying to compete with the other feels like they are all just trying to compliment each and the result never ceases to astound me!! I know of them only weeks, but I am fully amazed about this style of music and Hannahs clear voice. And she is nice. Who has bad critic about this band, should make it better at first. Waaaaay better than the original.... Here I can feel every feelings the text meant to transmit : calm sadness and clear mind about a story that can't continue despite the love of the other. I'm sorry but the original has such a bad timing i don't even have the time nor the idea of feeling all that. This song needed the magic of London Grammar to offer all it's potential and this is so moving and marvellous I want to cry with a slighty smile on my face. Thank you so much London Grammar for this cover and this interpretation, and thank you Deezer to make them sing on the rooftop in Paris with the beautiful vision of the Sacré Coeur in the background. I've been an avid London Grammar listener for more than 10 years but this... this performance is something else. London grammer have been one of my favourite artists. So diverse and meaningful in all of their lyrics and some of their tracks have been key points in my lifetime. Not only from the originals but also remixed from jacques lu cont and other djs. The covers they have done on the likes of radio one live lounge and deezer A truly amazing trio. I bow to all of you!

This is my 8yr old daughter's favorite song. I will always remember this song as long as I'm around. Although she had only heard the original song, I hope one day she gets to hear this cover version. I completely agree. I've played, written and recorded music since the late 90s and these guys are just fantastic in all respects - musicianship, recording, and of course Hannah's singing is astonishing. They also know how to add to a song by not playing, i.e. less is more. You mentioned Hannah's dress - on that note, what I love about Hannah is that she always looks absolutely fantastic, but you get the feeling it's all her and she's not dressed by some sleezy record company boss. Much like their music, it's the beauty of subtlety and honesty, which always trumps overtly trying too hard.
