This band brings beauty, honesty, and courage into their music and our world. Their talent is so pure and unique. I am baffled by their lack of recognition in the U.S. and love the fact that doesn't seem to be a concern to them. True artists... and I would bet they are lovely people.

in my darkest moments their music has been like a flashlight of hope! Hannah's voice like an angelic antidepressant pulled my soul back into resilience mode. 10 years ago i placed them in my mind vision board of delusions (thanks to Oprah lol) back ground; stroke survivor and so ive been called delusional now so because i was left to rot away i still had joy in me and that music was life for me) I am so delighted, actually I am bloody still on cloud 1,0000000 00 i managed to see then live last month in Manchester. the physical pain endured was lifted away as soon as they came on stage!!!!!!!!!!!! the embrace of joy has to be experienced to understand. The warmth of mothers womb!!!

I adore this subtle version of what for me is my favourite track of the new songs I have heard from LG prior to the release of the new album in September. The interplay between the piano and Hannah's beautiful voice is sublime. Again LG like many other modern artists (The National, LP , Agnes Obel, Wolf Alice, Suede, Interpol, First Aid Kit, Bat For Lashes, Sharon Van Etten , Lana Del Rey etc.) give a lie to those people who claim all modern music is vastly inferior to the 1960's/70's/80's/90's etc.

Couldn’t agree more. This is a sublime version- voice (incredible) and wonderful (every note perfect) piano. Good as anything from any era
@keithbate94055 ай бұрын
@@geoffteece265 If you put a gun to my head I could pick a few songs from the past ("God Only Knows", "And I love her ", "You've lost that loving feeling ", "walk on by", "A whiter shade of pale ", "Today" ) that I think are better than this song. But that really is an elite list . The cream of the cream.

You clearly have the same musical tastes as myself ! I go back a long way musically . But I primarily support modern music and bands nowadays eg The National, PJ Harvey (album of last year ), London Grammar (this year's album of the year I suspect ), LP (brilliant .If you have not heard of her listen to "Lost on you " live version), Agnes Obel (listen to the Curse ,Berlin version ), First Aid Kit, Suede (rejuvenated imo better than in the 1990's), Bat For Lashes, Interpol , Lana Del Rey, Sharon Van Etten etc.

@@keithbate9405I go back a very long way and, like you, tend to listen and attend concerts by modern acts like some of those you mention, like the National who I love. I like and have heard most of those you mention in addition to War on Drugs and Bonny Light Horseman. There is some great music about at the moment.
