That is a bitter feeling. I never felt that way and i hope i won't. I can only imagine how it hurts, not only in "love" but also in terms of friendship and family. That person is never feel the same amount of love, care and sincerety for you as much as you do for that human being - can you imagine that burden of knowing this and still trying to not to get hurt by your own feelings? Only choice for you to is to let him/her go. You "have to" bury your feelings inside your heart, you have to abondon them or at least weaken them cuz no matter how painful it is at that moment; actually that is the only way for you to keep moving on peacefully with yourself in the long run. I guess this is harder than forgiving someone who did you wrong but never apologized. I can only imagine.
