I think this song is about how painful it is when people lie to you no matter how much they're close to you and how much you trust them. It hits me hard and I can relate on a deep level because no matter how much the truth could hurt, it is still better than being lied to. The truth is truly a beautiful thing.

Its a great band but they are very mainstream which doesn't mean nothing bad , on the contrary im very glad so much people have chance to listen to them . Mainstream is variety of factors , on example their record label is Sony Music UK which is one of the largest in the world and which also sings Bullet for my Valentine,Beyonce and etc.

* *Lyrics* * [Verse 1] Miles and miles on my own Walk with shame, I follow on A language to find hard to hear Not to understand, just disappear [Pre-Chorus] To hold your heart, to hold your hand Would be to me, the greatest thing To hold your heart, hold your hand Would be to me, the bravest thing [Chorus] Could you take my place and stand here? I do not think you'd take this pain You'll be on your knees and struggle under the weight Oh, the truth would be a beautiful thing Oh, the truth is a beautiful thing [Verse 2] I wear another thought of you There's so much harm I give to you Hide you somewhere they don't know Deep in my core you know you have a throne [Pre-Chorus] Hold your heart, hold your hand Would be to me, the greatest thing To hold your heart, to hold your hand Would be to me, the bravest thing [Chorus] Could you take my place and stand here? I don't think you'll take this pain You'll be on your knees and struggle under the weight Oh the truth would be a beautiful thing Oh the truth is a beautiful thing

Why can’t humans just be honest, about themselves and what they do? Talk and say what they feel. My father died a month ago, after 23 years that we hadn’t seen each other, he decided to leave this world and not even tell me he was dying, not even say goodbye, say why he never reached out for me. I just can’t understand it.
