What makes London grammar unique, apart from Hannah's ethereal voice, is how the three of them blend together in perfection. May they stay together for much longer

After reading the lyrics, I am uncertain as to what is being expressed within the tale being told. Yet, uncertainty certainly is what surrounds us. Hannah Reid's voice is as exceptionally beautiful as ever and I love how the music does all that is needed for Hannah to paint upon.
@hawkstrike182 жыл бұрын
It *is* the tale of life/humans, the way I read it. But I think the "maybe" is not literal, because what we are isn't what we need indeed. But that is interpreted differently/oppositely, by the cynical and the more sensitive. I actually think there's a certainty in the midst of this uncertainty and confusion/paranoia and all mental flaws and diseases and complexes... but ppl have started to like it. I mean death and the seemingly/probable end of all life ofc. You wouldn't believe how many ppl with a global death wish I've met, online or off. But considering (most) humans tend to go with -and join and support- the winning side and the favorite, it kinda makes sense. It's not just that we're shallow, immature, illogical, etc. Deep inside I think almost everyone mourns but they're afraid to admit it. (I just met a guy like that and he called philosophical topics like these "pointless and meaningless" and proceeded to admit he prefers to be an ostrich and live his life, whatever that means nowadays and for humans in particular, under this system and in this age/era. It's the first time someone actually comments on the essence of what I said and admitted that, so I definitely appreciated it, even if he won't think on my observations and thoughts.) Now, all these may have nothing to do with the lyrics and I'm assuming different meaning in some sentences, but well, yh, most lyrics are quite vague on purpose or not, so...🤷

I've been struggling to put my finger on what it is about some of L.G.'s songs that I love but I've concluded that it's their magnitude and complexities (layers) that I love found especially in this and Oh Woman Oh Man that makes them stand out
@eziop55394 жыл бұрын
I think it's also a bit of this. I think they make songs to make songs and express themselves. I feel a lot of bands or solo artists makes songs to market them and make money. Yes, sure it's a bit of both perhaps, but the ratio for LG is much further one way, compared to someone else. I think that if a song or album gets very high ratings for LG it's just a coincidence rather than the aim.
