I'm from London originally. Everytime I go back for a visit, the city is always changing. I was last there in August. I use to see a lot of it by Bus. I've noticed the Number 15 Bus is still operating at Whitehall to the Tower of London. The 214 still runs to Highgate Village near where I used to live. I've eaten Lunch at Covent Garden and admired the architecture. London is one of the most fascinating Capital Cities in the World. I remember the wind and the Rain off the River Thames at Waterloo. I lost many an Umbrella there. There was the Winter of 81-82, and I was enjoying the Snow on Hampstead Heath. It lasted Weeks. Thanks for posting.

@@avionOasia summer is when it rains the most lol. But the UK is 1 of the wettest countries in the world. think were about 10th on the most rain in a year on average list. We should be a lot colder than we r as well cause were right on the edge of the arctic circle but were kept warm by the gulf stream which is what also brings the rain. Were on the same latitude as Norway but we dont get nowhere near as cold. It can get down to -60c in Norway but its rare we drop below freezing. When on arctic warfare training in Norway in january it was always a welcome relief to get back to England. a lot wetter but a lot warmer lol. Look at France and Germany. they r further south and get more snow than we do. As its warmer in England than most of Europe we tend to get more rain than most.
