I do like LNER (London North Eastern Railway). They are doing lot better than their predecessor VTEC (Virgin Trains East Coast), NXEC (National Express East Coast), East Coast and GNER (Great North Eastern Railway).

Hi Yes. At the end of the coach there is the luggage storage area 02:00.

Great video! Couple questions if you don’t mind. I’m will be travelling from Toronto, Canada and landing at Gatwick airport. Gatwick to kings cross isn’t a problem but going from kings cross to Newcastle has me in a bind. Do the trains ever get full going to newcastle? Wounding booking in advance be the best option? If so, would a anytime ticket be the best option? Or is there usually a lot of open seats and buying my ticket at the station the best option? Also wondering price wise. Thank you

Thank you for your comment. Whan I was travelling to Newcastle on this LNER train the seat booking was mandatory. You can also choose more budget friendly the new Lumo train operator. It is difficult to say whether trains will be full but recently there is a lot of strike actions here in the UK and the train services might be reduced. Open return ticket might good option if you are flexible.

I think the best option would be to go to the bistro coach also you should be able to order your food and drinks directly to your seat using the LNER app.

I think it should be ok as some of the luggage racks are not always full.
