There are so many stories of the London gangsters from the early 20th century through to the 1980s, but not much is really spoken about the gangsters who ran London after that. The Clerkenwell Crime Syndicate, The Hunt Syndicate, The Arifs, etc. I am guessing their tales will be the next to be told in detail as we know some of what they got up to, but nobody's really told their story for TV yet. The likes of Hunt and Terry Adams still deny the level of their involvement and part of the issue is they've managed to avoid a big, singular court case for their entire organisations where it all comes out, so they maintain deniability somewhat.

I was under the impression those were mostly young guys who, although involved in crime, were not in organised crime gangs. Also its often areas or postcodes more than streets, yeah they do stab/beat each other but its not organised crime like with the Russians, Albanians, Turks etc who really are powerfull.

. As a whole the Indian community in Southall is and was law abiding. Many of the earlier Indian settlers in Southall made successful businesses in many industries. Freight forwarding, restaurants, catering, food manufacturing, gold jewellery, clothing to name a few. The list can go on. At one time 'The Broadway '( Southall's main high street had one of the highest revenues only after Oxford Street, Bond Street, Regent Street. There were Indians many who had professional occupations even before the gangsters retired
