Sinead, pro tip.. next year go to Soho Fire station. All the emergency services put on a great display for Chinese new year at the fire station. The doors are open for all to experience it. Plus it’s a great viewing point for the rest of the parade.

There are lots of celebrations here in Edinburgh too ! Loads of fireworks since the 29th. I was born in the year of the snake...1953 and my first tattoo was a wee snake on my arm. I love snakes. 💖
