Different podcasts reach different people - this is the first time I have heard this story - but I wouldn’t mind if I had heard it before because it’s no different to a guest on a talk show circuit where they say the same thing on each channel, or a guest speaker slot at a convention where it’s canned material. These guests have often been inside for years and are not media savvy so I would not expect them to have fresh material at each appearance. This is therapeutic for them.

What’s interesting about this guys story, is that I am 37 years old, in the first week of year 11 at high school (2002) I got suspended for 2 weeks for smoking weed in school (in a rough school) and my teachers chose not to involve police and didn’t permanently exclude me… now I’ve got a good career and never been to jail. Just goes to show that how you deal with people affects their whole life. Teachers have too much power.
@jack040489
@jack040489 Ай бұрын
Problem with his incident, is that he distributed it to someone who suffered a serious reaction. Schools will evoke punishments that reflect the wider world, eg dealers get a much harsher punishment than a drug user. Also, he strikes me as someone who was involved in several incidents in school, so this was probably the final straw.

Yeah well unfortunately mate it's like anything isn't it in life. The bullshitters and blaggers always gravitate towards these types of personas because they feel like it affords them some sort of credibility and respect. Same in America with all the stolen Valor stuff you see happening. Street culture is always seen as cool to many people, and that's why people latch on to it so they can invent an identity and a character. Unfortunately most people will believe most things without any due diligence
