Enjoyable video, many thanks. What I love about this area of Central London is the enormous variety of architectural styles; with the exception of the theatres, less grand, less on the huge scale of Piccadilly, Regent Street etc. It’s important to look up above the shop fronts and imagine the workmanship of the builders and stonemasons, without so many of the tools we have nowadays. Back in the mid to late 1980s I worked just off Russell Square and would often walk from Charing Cross through this area on sunny days.

In tropical countries sun sets by 6.45/7pm in the evening both in summer and monsoon only in the winter sunsets by 5.45/6pm not much difference between summer monsoon and winter daylengths but in temperate countries you see in summer the sun sets at 9pm and in winter sun sets at 5pm lot of difference in daylength of summer and winter
