Because he did not play ...c7-c5 yet. I like the Bg3 idea when they are already commited to pushing the c-pawn, otherwise they might never play ...c7-c5 and black has additional options to deal with our Bg3 move. In the main lines (not in that game vs Maurizzi) black has a plan of going ...b6-Bb7 and then ...Ne4 (without pushing ...c7-c5 at all) and that is really annoying. So for this reason mainly I think the best play is to wait a bit before playing Bg3! Hope that makes any sense!

My other thumbnail suggestion is you should have more than just the “single facial expression” When you mix up different photos of you, either with different emotions or even the same emotion but different images, they do better in click through rate (eg what Gotham and Hikaru do)
