Brilliant. I used to stand at plaistow station and love seeing these lovely units flying past. Many good memories going to barking to pick the train to Southend.

Started on the LTS IN '88 and loving every minute. A great railway with great people, like the late, great Arthur Bann at 1:53, ( "You are all my prisoners!")😆

Ah yes, very nostalgic. Lots of memories. It's funny but I forgot all about those loud clanking clocks they had on the platform at 3:36 could be a source of irritation if you had a long wait and no walkman to hand.

I'm 34 i remember going on the old slam door trains and the smell of them i miss the old slam doors i always remember the dodgy door latch when arriving at a station lol 😆

Lawrence Howard I believe the definition of The City Of London is by post code. The City is EC3, whereas Liverpool Street is EC2 and Cannon Street is EC4. So I think they are correct that Fenchurch Street is the only main line terminus in "the City of London"

@@petermumford9023no, all are within city limits regardless of how much people try to change the claims…Cannon St., Fenchurch St., Blackfriars, and Moorgate are all within the city with Holburn Viaduct and Bo d St. lost yet also being city terminals
