I have the hit wire cutter and the pen thing which Ai find melts the pink/blue insulating board Bhutto gives sone awful off gas and sticks to the blade. You are doing a great job👍

Yeah depends what you are cutting i spose, the styrene stinks but it cuts fairly well, such a handy tool

Couple of suggestions, maybe put a set of traffic lights under that access to the car park for a bit of something different, I'm sure someone makes a working set for a bit of added interest. Also with the Semi's on brakespeare if this is modern London you're styling this on, at least a couple of those houses would have knocked the garage down and built a side extension. Might be a little evening project if you haven't got enough of those already 🤣

I was just going to put a mirror sorta thing on the fence like you get in some places. The house extension though, thats a brill idea! Hadnt thought of that 😂

Very impressive scratch build, your very brave, but it's paid off! Great idea to have the goods line chopped off and abandoned! Your grassing is as good as the big kid's, playing trains 😆😂(Ollie)! The tactile paving looks great. Cant wait to see the walling and garages painted!

I thought you were mad to cut up your station building but the result speaks for it's self reminds me of Sudbury Town Station. The over all looks great and a nice addition to be proud of. Congratulations.

Me too, still think i am 😂 Its not perfect by any means but i can always chop it up again down the line if i get bored haha. If you look at eastcote/ickenham from platform level its kind of a mix of both!

Now this was an hour well spent watching. I liked the journey from the start with the results as we went along. So nice compared to the videos that have people talking about plans plans and more plans. I also kinda model LT as I'm modelling Upminster and although the station is running alive with S stock, there is only 1 roundel in sight that is on the signal box. This is due to the fact that the station is managed by C2C. Anyway, I am desperately looking to get some D stock, so if you know anyone that could 3d print them, pls help me out. Hi mate, just personal preference really, ive seen many layouts with Metcalfe buildings not stand the test of time so i prefer to use something more substantial. You also dont get the 3d detail on the bricks ect of course. They have their place in the hobby however, just not for me is all! Regards Eric

Great stuff. Enjoyed watching that and seeing the progress. Love the stub from the old sidings. The new staircases look proper ugly lumps (which is cool). If someone parks in that car park, how do they then get onto the platforms? Bit of a bind having to climb up that hill to the station building. I guess London Transport of old would have made people climb the hill up to the station building so they could buy tickets, but with Oyster cards, maybe TfL would add a gate between the car park and the nearest platform? Still need to go over the footbridge to get onto the other platform, of course. Keep up the good work. PS Laughing with you at the troll.

1 question what about the 3rd and 4th power rails? Will it be all over the line or a mix of the 2 national and tube line like breakspear? Love the carpark converted goods yard track under the bridge, I've got old dirty track that could do bigger plus if you buy cheap nasty second hand track that would work on a larger volume. Great modelling🚂🚃🚄🚅 What about Route master buses and blackcabs are you going get any?
