Buying a house is not the biggest accomplishments but it s one of them. When you're young and you buy a house the interest rate is lower and the length could be 20 or 25 years. If you buy at the age of 50, you should definitely have a huge savings because no bank will borrow you the money or it will be extremely difficult. When you will retired, your income will decrease as well so paying a rent every month will be difficult. That s the reason why i encourage everyone to buy. Buy a place to stay if you can

Find what you're good at and make money from it. You don't need to stay in retail. Retail is a great place to learn communication skills and meet people from different cultures.
