Not surprised there are no crowds in Croydon Willy,as you said going in the Whitgift is depressing enough and House of Fraser are closing alot of stores plus the Rail Strike doesn't help.I went to Westfield Shepherds Bush and Portobello Road and crowded but not that bad.Hope you recovered with a few pints m8!!

Ello mate. Hope your well. What time of day was this taken? WE've spoken before. It's heartbreaking what has happened. Its a husk of what it used to be. Northend used to be heaving on a saturday afternoon. So many good memories. Going for a 'quick one ' in yates and falling out of there fuck knows what time. Waking up next morning with a gale force hangover and 73p in your pocket but you'd remember what an absolute scream you had last night so it was all worth it :-)

Its the festive season in Croydon and the powers that be have installed a punching machine, right in the middle of the shopping centre!😂I guess it’s there to encourage frustrated shoppers to hit that, instead of each other.🤣Merry Christmas Croydon! Merry Christmas Willy!

I was born in Croydon, and lived there until I went to uni in 2010, and then left in 2011 for good (one visit back in 2014) to Australia. I loved Croydon, for all it's flaws, but in 2011 when the riots happened, I knew something had changed. Watching this, honestly, it feels like a Black Mirror episode.

Hi joe 👋🏻 definitely has changed, I remember it was the place to go out for a good night out , all the bars and clubs, now nothing only a few bars left that are nothing special, also remember the riots, I started work at 4am that day , and was walking to work because my car was in the garage, saw people running past me with big tv s 😂😂 stay safe ❤️💙
