John, I watch all of your videos, and I especially liked the one with the elderly gentleman who spoke with you about how glad he was to finally meet you. Your videos are entertaining, emotional, and gives us a wonderful look into the majority of English citizens are kind, thoughtful, caring, and mostly happy. As far as the horses, I am praying the two seriously injured will return to work, but if not they will enjoy the rest of their days at the Horse sanctuary where they care for retired military horses. Keep up the good work, John. You are having a positive impression on a lot of people, and I am doing my best to spread the work about you and your channel.

I remember as a kid (along with my cousin) being scolded by a stranger for misbehaving. My uncle caught the tail end of it. When we told him why he jumped all over us. No different cue in what you did except the mom scolded you. 😠 If she can’t keep her kid from misbehaving she is the one needing scolding. Good job John.

Oh Jesus! Watch it again without listening to Johns narration! How much time was there in between the child catching up with the guard and John pouncing on him? 3 seconds! Could you hear the mother call the child? No, all you can hear is John, so who’s to say she didn’t? Looking through the eyes of a child……there is a magnificent man in a uniform, marching. Maybe you want to be just like him when you grow up, so what’s the harm in marching beside him? Granted, he was a little close, so how about tell the little guy to march behind him instead? He certainly wasn’t ‘Mocking’. Since when is it acceptable for a stranger to walk up to a child and talk to them, let alone chastise them? Talk to the parent, not the child, or simply ‘mind your own business”.

@@joanneriley3899okay first of all he wasn't a little man ,but a full grown teenager that should know better by now how to behave in public. Second of all he was mocking that soldier not admiring him, it's absolutely obvious to anyone with half a brain. Thirdly the fact that you are so vehemently defending this young man and his mother, makes me wonder what's in it for you. That young man is extremely lucky that John stopped him before, the soldier yelled at him, or before the armed police caught him and threw the entire family out.😡

@@joanneriley3899 GThe boy was wrong, accept that ,and stop making excuses. That is the problem with many children today. Lack of parental discipline. If someone sees a child during something wrong, they should calI them out. I taught for 30 years, and in those later years, things changed. In many cases their children could do no wrong. Always the other person' s fault.

The mother was filming her son , who wasn’t that young of a child, marching with the guard. The boy was at least 13, old enough to know better. Children are put so high up on the precious stool nowadays at the expense of everybody else. Two of my children are on the spectrum along with other diverse conditions but my children had and have impeccable manners. Even young they had to behave in restaurants cinemas etc or we took them out of the premises.

As soon as that lad took off after seeing the Gatesman leave, I KNEW he was going to do something stupid. He seemed upset because the Gatesman left the arch before his photo-op. Had that been an adult, he would been pushed to the floor, especially if they touched (even though slight but, that's not the issue) the Gatesman like the lad did. Job well done John.
