I think he's a stallion too an uncut male most of them tend to get nippy like that naturally. But when I approached him on my uk trip back then he was more chill with me and figures that I deal with horses and know how to treat them. His ears were still pinned down but didn't really try to nip at me. I was surprised because stallions normally don't care unless it's their owner but for a nippy stallion he's pretty well mannered with some people.

Hi. Do you think it's okay for strangers to come up to a strange horse and maul it? That what happens here. People do what they want to these horses when the guards are told to not yell or correct people. Is that fair? They have 3 guards who will protect the horses no matter what, the others don't. Ormond demands respect from people. They STILL continue to tease her.... They need to take a picture and move on. OR do you believe it's Disneyland where misbehaving is a must. They are serving soldiers who some people don't respect.

Thanks John & Ormonde. I was in need of a bit of cheering up today and watching Ormonde demonstrate his opinion of the tourists was just what I needed. At least he's giving his fellow trooper something to occupy him for an hour. I suspect Ormonde is one of those horses who puts his trust only in the humans he knows. He may have lost certain parts of his anatomy but he's still a stallion in temperament when he needs to be.

Ormonde is his usual "one-horse show" self😅😅 ("don't know, don't care, stay away from me"😅) The judges at the Elizabeth Cup probably saw some of his shenanigans, but if you remember, he refused to stay in his designated location (on the second row, first from the left) and moved around, away from the row, and in the designated position (he didn't sit straight, but in all other positions)😅 He made five other horses restless and caused that little commotion.
