↓ LYRICS ↓
If this world is wearing thin
And you're thinking of escape
I'll go anywhere with you
Just wrap me up in chains
But if you try to go out alone
Don't think I'll understand
(Stay) Stay with me
Stay with me
In the silence of your room
In the darkness of your dreams
You must only think of me
There can be no in-betweens
When your pride is on the floor
I'll make you beg for more
(Stay) Stay with me
Stay with me
You'd better hope and pray
That you make it safe back to your own world
You'd better hope and pray
That you wake one day in your own world
'Cuz when you sleep at night
They don't hear your cries in your own world
Only time will tell
If you can break the spell back in your own world
(Stay) Stay with me
(Stay) Stay with me
(Stay) Stay, stay with me ahh-haaa
(Stay) Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay
(Stay)

Now Ghost (and Patrick Wilson!) need to remake this amazing video. They'd do an incredible job of it, too. Maybe as a wink and nod one of the Ghouls or Ghoulettes could play the "dying lover" part out of costume?

The woman who's the incorporation of death in this song is pure genius...her voice range, how she plays with it, the expressions, even when she gave up at the end and looked so fond of those love-sick fools....it's a masterpiece.

And then she raises HER eyebrows at the lover's overacting, after having done 30 seconds of extravagant, completely over the top overacting of her own. The whole thing is so much fun.

The look of crazy is because she was smashed off her box, she drank a lot of vodka and had some herbal inspiration, the whole shoot was gonna be canned, but the director loved her facial expressions, hence why there's a lot of jump cuts when siobhan is on camera, never more than a few seconds of her on film at a time, makes a great video though

Marcella's soprano vocals delicately tugs my heartstrings then Siobhan's haunting alto voice added some drama then Marcella hits the falsetto causing a massive well in my eyes. Beautiful song...they did that👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Edit: To think Siobhan pulling her part as the Angel of death while drunk off the vodka (to kill off camera shyness) to make it look like she's professional, that's absolutely cool. First watched this on VH1 Classics on 2014 and nine years later, I still love it
