There were moments I think with Bananaz when we saw hints of Fahey's true abilities as a songwriter, but for me this is her crown - that penny drop moment when you realize the talent you're listening to. As a modern pop song this is just perfect - perhaps too good. What could be improved upon? Marcy, of course, has always been Marcy - in my opinion, a musical genius. When you have the likes of Eric Clapton head-hunting you and then co-writing songs with you, what more need be said. But it's this song I think with it's simplicity in lyrics and directness - even a bit of flippancy - that really epitomizes the band's sound at the time. Love it.
