Yeah, there are really so many things that can be done. For example, why were Echo units (humanoid androids like Jack, I mean) considered 'obsolete' (I mean, it is very well possible that it is because of something going wrong with a unit and causing a big incident, to full-on rebellion, which would also explain the war. But the Echo unit thing is probably something only I am curious about, so, yeah.) And we will see how the war affects our situation, while also being able to see what humanity has become and as you said, Wolf, it is probably going to be great no matter where they take it. Although I can't see it changing it's orientation from the very story-focused game with small puzzles and exploration, the movement system can also be the inspiration for so many kinds of games. From action games (I think there was a VR action game with the Zero G Movement, but I'm not sure) to games with much more complex spatial puzzles (like how puzzles were in Alyx, but much harder)

@@echoesman3439 I do believe you are ovethinking the obsolete Echo thing - the ending is 400 years in the future after all. Our current technology hasn't even been around for a lot more than 100 years and we consider 5 year old phones to be "out-of-date" - do you think you'd care about 400-year old technology if it was around? You'd be utterly baffled to see it working and saying "hello, I am Captain Jack", if anything. Still, the Echo units are interesting, for the very fact that Jack exists - he isn't like the other Echo units. He shows a deep human-like curiosity and problem-solving capabilites unmatched by any other humanoid robot Liv has been working with, and the possible connection to her dead brother deepens this mystery. I believe this will be a main story focus in 2 for sure.

I’d been bouncing around on KZbin for a couple years now, trying to find content that’s been worth watching. To this day, there are only three “let’s players”, that I watch anymore. And this fellow here, is fantastic. A real portal for the audience into the game, adding an extra level of personality to the player character, as comical, or as serious as they can be. 10/10, would waste hours with again

Apollo said that Olivia was killed during the anomaly in his records. Maybe they presumed Olivia was KIA during that event because they couldn't find her body because they traveled to the future. And in the movie, they look like they were under observation or some sort (Liv said they were "trapped")

it's interesting that atlas says that jack is super out of date yet there are compatible replacement shells onboard. I would have assumed that the out of date thing meant that you couldn't body hop for a while and hand to be careful.

So the reason Liv was MIA and the Astrea was never mentioned in Apollo's databank was because they both jumped 400 years into the future before anyone else noticed. Meaning Liv went missing along with the ship. Kronos II was destroyed by an unknown space anomaly (They didnt contact HQ about the ship appearing due to oxygen issues so HQ doesnt know about the ship) I assume they are keeping Liv there to study and question her. Due to her time travelling. They probably want to figure out how she did it. Im gonna assume poor Apollo is in a similar state to Jack.

The combination of the game actually making characters that seem real, and your reactions(that seem equally real), actually had me at the edge of my seat when Liv flatlined, and genuinely made me smile like a loon, and sigh in relief at the revival. I think that this is a Bootstrap Paradox. No information on spores, spores are brought back in time and infects Kronus II, is found by Atlas Initiative, eventually developed into the form we see in game, now used in warfare, brought back by the Astrea, only to be left behind by time jump, causing it's creation in the first place.
