Tonto may have spoken in a typical nonsensical Hollywood Indian accent, but he was never stupid. Tonto was as brilliant a crime fighter as the Lone Ranger.

The plot here is similar to the Dell/Gold Key comic book Turok: Son of Stone, and Ray Harryhausen's "The Valley of Gwangi."

Tonto doesn't always rely on his bow and arrow. Native Americans know how to shoot guns. The Lone Ranger taught him how to shoot a gun.
