As a young boy, I found that anything produced by Lou Scheimer and Norm Prescott was “Cheesy”. The voices, the art, the stories all were presented high and mighty. The finest cartoons were Hanna-Barbera’s superheroes. Great background and suspenseful music, easy stories, and simple art. Also, the 1967 Spider-Man was well done.

The reason why Filmation Cartoons seemed to have a "Moral Code" with some teachable moment at the End cause of #1. A Saturday Morning parents "activist" group were strong Arming-networks to be more Socially responsible. #2. I Think Lou schemer added the Moral lessons to get people like that activist group off his Company's back

Not this one, but reruns of the 1966-69 series. I only have two memories of my grandmother. One is her giving me a pop tart every day while I sat, and watched The Lone Ranger cartoon.

@@Bigmanstyling101Incorrect. Bass Reeves was not the inspiration for The Lone Ranger. That's an modern myth. The Lone Ranger was inspired by Zorro and real life Texas Ranger John Reynolds Hughes, “The Lone Star Ranger."
