That's looking awesome, I thought at first about how it would look with the bumper done in white but after seeing it now I think it should stay black. I've taken my Commander apart several times front and back and my lift came from CATVOS and I wasn't impressed by the bolts used I e bent and broken just about everyone of them that they themselves put on when they installed my lift. But in their defense I am very rough on my machine, it is used to haul firewood to the top of cage play in mud, rocks and climb hills with big rocks. I try it all and my brother just says it beats him on how when I break it I always drive it back home no matter what it is I break. CanAm is all I tell him

you should put anti seize on your bolts shanks especially the ones through steel like trailing arm shock sleeves, basically all big shank bolts.. and all those mis align spacers should put a grease like a red and tacky on the spacer surface that goes through uniball. With as much mud and water and snow you do will prevent seizing/binding/rusting... when i race bitd every bolt on truck especially suspension and shock and steeering related had bolts shanked first, then antiseize on shank, loctite on thread, and grease on mis aligns spacers next time you have apart or servicing i would def do it

Lovin the videos, did you guys ever consider the +4 long travel kit and if not then wondering why not?Keep up the great work!!!
@SXSBlog7 жыл бұрын
The longer travel kit only increased the front travel by 2" but added lots of width. For what we do the extra width doesn't help.
@bdhertz17 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick response, that's impressive. The overwhelming majority of my intended use would be Glamis / Pismo dunes or high desert where the wider stance makes a huge difference here in California but makes sense if your main time is spent on tighter trails. Once again, thoroughly love the videos, something well worth looking forward to on the regular.

Lonestar stuff is great but what benefit are these over stock other than maybe a little stronger? The X3 trailing arms are pretty beefy as stock.
@Hondarider357 жыл бұрын
M Sears Garage the oem x3 front arms are trash. They fold up pretty easy. From the pictures I have seen on the x3 pages
@122276mjs7 жыл бұрын
Doug Summers Even on the 72” wide units? I have an X RC and they look pretty strong, stronger than I’ve seen from any factory arms by other manufacturers. I know the 64” wide units use different arms
@UncleNutt7 жыл бұрын
Any amount stronger counts when you are pushing your machine hard.
@Hondarider357 жыл бұрын
If you get the chance to buy aftermarket arms do it. If you push your machine they might bend.
@SXSBlog7 жыл бұрын
X3 arms front and rear look beefy but are extremely thin and bend pretty easily. We've already gone through a few of them.
@mattbeatty44267 жыл бұрын
Where did you get the steering wheel and how much?
@austinsears16377 жыл бұрын
Hey, quick question. If you've installed a suspension kit etc Why weren't longer axles installed as well? Is it just me, or are the new Lonestar A-arms no longer in length than the O.E.M. A-arms!?!?
@SXSBlog7 жыл бұрын
Hey Austin! This is a stock length kit so it doesn't require longer axles. They have a wide kit but it doesn't increase travel on the rear, only the front, and it adds lots of width. Awesome for desert racing, bad for trails. We're planning on keeping this as a badass trail rig so we wanted to keep stock width!
@austinsears16377 жыл бұрын
SXSBlog.com AwesomeSauce!!! So the point of this lonestar kit was to gain more ground clearance???

The biggest gain here is strength. This stuff is bombproof whereas the stock parts are no where close lol
