Address it with your state legislators. They are not in Washington, usually they are neighbors or live close by. People seem to forget most issues they see can be rectified more locally than getting Congress to move. Something like animal welfare can even be addressed at your county or city level. The “somebody” that needs to do something is you.

Are rams really usually that nice? I worked on a farm with rams and ewes (unfixed) and my bosses would always tell me to be REALLY CAREFUL around rams. Eventually they stopped their breeding program and just kept ewes and maybe the occasional wether because they said rams could never be trusted and even hurt some people.

@@cindylively9544 He could have been the only ram they had, so in that way he could be "the only one". The space he was in looked like it was big enough for only one anyway tbh. You wouldn't be able to cram 5 rams/sheep in an area the size of a kiddie park and not have them end up worse than him with clear signs of Zoochosis in my opinion.

He is such a gentle soul and I love how you can see how much he adores his rescuers. The majority might be relatively indifferent to animals compared to animal lovers like us, but to say that the majority of almost 8 billion people would knowingly abuse an animal is just wildly false. Constantly talking about how most humans are bad and how animals are "better" than most humans is a big part of the reason that animal advocates aren't taken seriously. I know this because am _constantly_ accused of "hating humans" and being misanthropic when I talk about how much I value animals and animal rights - and I don't even make statements like yours. Don't forget that we're animals too.
