I totally agree. My kitty is my guardian angel. He saved my life by loving me as he does. Kimba's birthday is August 16th, and he will be 6 years old. My birthday is August 14th. We were meant to be together always. My sweet little man. I love my Kimba. 💋💋😽 A cat's love is the best. Arya just needed time to feel safe. When she was ready, she opened her heart to this man.

So true! Two of my rescues I've adopted over the years had suffered abuse, the extent to which the rescues couldn't be certain, but with patience, my late kitty Ariel went from hiding, not letting me near her, to climbing onto my lap, reaching her paws around my neck and burrowing her sweet little nose into my cheek. I've never had a cat do that, neither before nor since. My youngest, Molly, is still getting comfortable after a hard beginning to life, but loves to curl up next to me when I'm on my computer. I'm just letting her choose the pace. I'm a lucky cat mom, just like Fawn and Arya's dad is a blessed cat dad!

My cat grew up on the streets. I lured him into the house with food and play. The rescue I took him to said he was 2-3 months old. Now he's nearing 2. He adores me and follows me everywhere but it wasn't until recently he sat on my lap for the first time. I was tired but I stayed up for another two hours just to bask in that glow. It can take ages but there's nothing like earning the trust of an animal
