@@diooverheaven4317 Goku wouldn’t be that much weaker. He wouldn’t have SSJ3 but he doesn’t really use that transformation much anyways. Buu saga would end faster since Vegeta and Goku would be similar in power and Vegeta wouldn’t be in any rush to try and prove himself to Goku since Goku isn’t limited to 24 hours on Earth. So he doesn’t allow himself to become majin vegeta. Which means less energy to hatch buu and buu gets destroyed while sealed. Gohan is significantly weaker since he doesn’t get that ultimate power up and Old Kai is still in the Z-Sword. Uub isn’t a thing and Goten and Trunks never learn fusion. Battle of Gods plays out as normal except Beerus doesn’t get upset about the pudding since buu isn’t around. Everything after is normal except they might be screwed in the Moro Arc since Buu plays an important role there.

The Good Ending: Goku is around to help raise his sons, Gohan helps Goku and Vegeta achieve SSJ2 and they all never stop training, no Majin Vegeta since him and Goku work out their differences earlier, and they all get Super Saiyan 3 by the time Babadi shows up.

I feel a large number of people don't actually remember what the character arcs in z were and misremember most of them into simplified lower detailed versions of them.

If goku didn't sacrifice himself and gohan actually listened, goku wouldve been very happy to be gohans training partner. He wouldve pushed gohan to master ssj2 and achieve ssj3 WAYYY before majin buu. Thus, two ssj3's versus fat buu wouldve been childs play. There would have been no vegito.

No, Goku achieved ss3 only because he waa dead, and he trained in a world with virtually infinite energy. The proof is that although Vegeta has trained a lot, and has been pissed several times, from the Cell saga to the Beerus saga, he has never managed to become ss3.

No, Gohan would be equal to or weaker than his canon self. Goku had over 4yrs between Buu and Beerus to train Gohan before Pan was conceived, but chose not to because he finally realized after the Buu fight that Gohan didn't enjoy fighting or training and let him live his own life. If Goku hadn't died to Cell, he'd almost certainly have had that point drilled into him by Piccolo and Chi Chi - who are the only people in the franchise up to that point that actually want Gohan to pursue what he personally wants, which has always been being a scholar (which the anime does a poor job of conveying compared to the manga).

Goku might train, but i don't think it would be as effective. We don't really know anything about his training in the afterlife but i guess it was more than just going to Kaioh. So yeah, no Ssj3, and Majin Vegeta would have slapped him. Though if I think about it, he could have done something like getting his power raised by Kaiohshin instead of Gohan to beat Buu, or fuse with Gohan, and that would have been awesome.

So Ssj2 Gohan could probably beat Buu. But if he would not beat fat Buu, and Buu would turn into Super Buu.... i don't see too big chance for anyone.

In my scenario: Gohan is much much weaker since he won't do any kind of training, because there's no reason to protect the Earth himself when his father is still alive. Goku is weaker because he doesn't do the special training he did in the afterlife, and thus doesn't have Ssj3. Vegeta is a bit stronger because he can spar with Goku instead of training alone. At this point there are so many variables, but I like to think that Vegeta won't let Babidi control his mind just to beat Goku since they are now friends (btw this Vegeta would smack this Goku in a second if he did), and after Buu awakens they flee because he's just too much for them. They go to Kaiohshin planet where everything could happen. Kaiohshin might power-up all 3 of them, also they can do 3 different fusions (probably it would be Gohan and Goku since Vegeta doesn't like to fuse with anybody). At that point it's just over for Buu. However this is an anime, so it would never be such an easy victory. Probably Vegeta would still get out of the picture, sacrificing himself, or worse, getting absorbed. If he gets absorbed I guess the only thing Goku and Gohan can do is fusion. Overall it would still be an easier ending than the original, but remember that in the series it could have been even easier, since Goku could have beaten Buu from the start, but didn't because he wanted Trunks and Goten to do it. However, in this timeline that wouldn't happen as Gotenks (and Gogeta) can't exist, because Goku would not learn the fusione dance in the afterlife.

@@mattia6399 Yeah, me too. Though i have one problem, wich is fact that Buu in this scenario should not awaken. Cuz there is no point of fight between Goku and Vegeta. And i kinda belive that Goku would get stronger than in cell games, but not THAT much stronger. He would be Super perfect Cell level. They would need mystic forms, but problem is, that u need one day to make one. So let's say that they are not enough to fight Buu, and they went to Kai's world. Earth is fucked. There is no Gotenks(No one knows Metamora). Piccolo is Ssj Goku level so no chance. And even if, Goten and Trunks don't know Ssj3. Buu would split, and make Super Buu, and probably absorb Piccolo, who is genius. Now it depends. Who got Mystic first. If Gohan, everyone is fucked. Gohan very often, when has uper hand is cocky. And this Buu has Piccolo inside. Even if Gohan is stronger, Buu would simply outsmart him. So he would be stronger than both Mystic Goku and Vegeta. Comsidering fact, that ritual is still taking place(for Goku or Vegeta) there is no fusion. So Buu wins. Unless Goku takes mystic. Then he probably beats Buu. But in this scenario there is no Good Buu. And no fusion. Moro kills everyone. But that is just my personal opinion tho.
