I was curious, would a sunroof from a vw go good on a 47 or 48 chevy coupe fit ok. I thought maybe cause the vw has the curve like top of the coupes it might be just right, just for something simple but different look

Incredible craftsmanship 👌 I am curious if anyone knows if there is a noticeable difference between a 44 from a Lincoln & a 44 from a Cadillac 🤷‍♂️ I own a 78 caddy coupe and may be able to snag one but its from a Lincoln Dont know if there is a difference in the arch or curvature and i want it to look right right

Labor out here in Cali is about $1500. Moonroofs are going for around $3k if you can find one. They are pretty much getting extinct like dinosaurs. Lol

I have a question I have a 79 Lincoln Mark v with a sunroof but sunroof won't open anymore it only rattles but it won't move do you know where I need to go to get it repaired by any chance in El Paso Texas .

Never repaired a broken one. First order of business would be drop the headliner. I doubt parts are available for it so might be challenging. Maybe find the part needed in New old stock on ebay??

Great job 👍🏼 but the glass would have looked 1000 times better I had one done on my 66 impala back in 84 with a stainless steel trim ring cost me $900 with new head liner I still have the car also did it to my 79 caddy also glass. Yes same roof. What was done in this video I would say ball park 1500-2000. Depending on the metal glass cover or not. Doesn't include body work or paint, or headliner. I would think its pretty much impossible to install one without damaging paint, so it's best to do it when a car is in this stage like the 62. Gutted and not worried about welding on it.

should have coved the glass before you welded i learned the hard way burned spots in glass .

Yeah I thought same thing when editing. He has a shade pull out for the glass. I dont think any damage occurred in this instance
