From what I understand, the dolly method is the most correct way to install these. I've actually never seen one. I figured it out by reading between the lines, but when I was first learning- the whole dolly thing was, like, Top-Secret! I would actually love to see the video of how you made it!

Looks like with the pattern you could trace on the roof was the best thing to make it come out perfect. Still a lot of work but well worth it for sure :-) And it looks like you passed all of Bobby's inspections............you could hear him welding and grinding in the back round.

we made the jig based off the car the moon roof came out of.

Yeah you need the jig or dolly to flange the roof. The halo is just pinch welded to the roof skin. Justin is mr 44

Great work! Is there a bottom part to the jig that clamps on the inside of the car or just the piece you clamped to the top of the roof?

Yes it's a 2 part jig that clamps together to itself
