WOW!!! I only have one question. WHY??? It's a miracle you and boomer weren't injured. It was a definite relief knowing that you and your buddy survived. Hurricanes are not to be messed with. @@mildredmorine745 At what point did @Jose rocha state Boomer wasn't taken care of? He didn't and if you want to get technical, Boomer would've received better care at home or a safe enclosed environment with his other humans. The comment was addressing the obvious, "poor lil guy looked so scared." That's 100% true bc Boomer shouldn't have been there anyway. Wet, mosquitos, high winds + shivering while his human drinks a hot beverage, and food doesn't seem like a fun time for any creature. As a Floridian and former reservest this was unneccessarily insane. Risking his own life is his choice, but leave the dog out of this foolishness. Post the time stamp that showed how excited Boomer was to be there.

Boomer is absolutely adorable in his frog/dog sweater!! When you said there were a lot of mosquitoes out, I couldn't help thinking of my family's little Pug dog way back in 1960 (I was 12😁). We were stationed at Homestead AFB in Florida and the mosquitoes could just about carry you away. Our little dog got heart worms and it was heart breaking. I am SO glad dogs can be protected against that these days! WOW! Camping in a hurricane!! I am so glad you and Boomer made it out safely! I have been through a few hurricanes in my life in Florida beginning with Hurricane Donna in 1960. They aren't fun even in a safe place!!

*That is one of the stupidest thing's I have ever seen a KZbinr do for click's. Thankfully God was watching over Boomer being he didn't ask for such a big risk to be taken on his little life. You knew exactly what was supposed to happen. It's one thing to take those chances with yourself but that baby didn't ask to be scared to death all night or to have a chance taken with his life. It's sad.*

Glad you & Boomer got thru safely. I was caught in post-tropical storm Elsa in early July 2021 in Fundy Nat'l Park. Elsa was pretty much a rainfall event (50 to 80 mm) by the time she arrived at Bay of Fundy but still packed winds of 50-90 kph. On my 15 km hike out, I didn't have to deal with any downed trees but steady rain & wind. Fortunately, a bag of dry clothes awaited me when I reached my vehicle.

I accidentally camped through a hurricane with a similar setup. Lerning how to keep everything tight takes practice. When the weather started to get bad i adjusted everything down low. I slipped my wool blanket in between the ridgelins and the rain fly, it kept all of the wind out.

That was absolutely insane! Glad you and Boomer are safe! Live from Cape Breton Island where hurricane Fiona is making landfall. Our reporter on ground is reporting hurricane force winds and 25’ waves with trees falling all around and all he could say was wow, I’m living my best life! 😂 Absolutely the best episode ever! Not sure you will be able to top that! I’m going to have to say coming from someone who grew up in Oklahoma were we were always chasing Tornados and I must say you did good my friend! Stay safe and looking forward to more videos to come!

I can't believe you were out there in a hurricane, that was crazy as well as dangerous. Oh well I guess that's why I watched it. Next time leave boomer at home when you want to do a hurricane camping video.😊😊😊😊 boomer looks so cute peeking out the hammock. I'm happy you weren't injured by any falling trees. The hammock looks so comfy. What was the wind speed? This video was awesome. Never seen a high wind camping video like this one. Glad you got gone. Please don't take chances like this again.

Crazy intense storm is all I can say. Glad you and Boomer didn't get hurt. I live in Pennsylvania in the US. We've had weak tropical storms in the past and the main issue was the rainfall. I've also seen sections of forest obliterated from straight line winds and an occasional tornado. I do like to watch storms, usually from inside a vehicle or occasionally under a pavilion. Thanks for sharing your experience and great filmmaking as always.
