Man I started hot tent camping because of you, already modded 3 of my tents, and your taiji tent reminds me that I should also mod my Naturehike Cloud Peak 2, a very similar free-standing hexagonal tent. Started this year in Jan, here in Switzerland, now I am constantly inviting friends who never were camping in winter before, as its so cozy now. Also for me it was the first time sleeping at -4 to -8 °C. No regrets, winter camping with a stove is awesome ! These vids are my favorite one. Going out in a few days again. :)

Thank you for not playing music. Don’t get me wrong, there are a few channels where the background music IS nice/calm, but I love-especially watching late at night as my momma-winding-down-time-where it’s just the crackling fire/sounds of nature. It gives those of us terrified of Sasquatch (not one word) a chance to camp from the safety of our living rooms. Seriously, with rheumatoid, and other aches & pains, mountain treks are far in my past. Thank you for letting us piggyback on your adventures. Now, could you please get some boots for the wee beastie?

That Taiji 2 tent looks nice. I dig exoskeleton designs like the Vik 1, Cloud Peak 2 / Allak 2. That's sweet you were able to mod a hot tent jack in a tent that small.

Nice camping! I just bought a wood stove for hot tenting. I noticed I have only one spark arrestor at the bottom where chimney connectst to the stove . Do you think I need another spark arrestor on the the top of the chimney like urs?
