I love how smart Boomer is, he went and got on the nice sleeping bag and took a nap. I can remember camping in a little pup tent my mother and I and my basset hound in between us trying to push us over with her big feet to get more room. Glad you have Boomer now. He's a sweety!

Boomer looked SO CUTE under the covers at bedtime! Very cozy. Nice videography of the woods. I especially liked the closeup of the ice on the pine branch. Very nice jacket and sweater for Boomer. Some campers dont bring along warm outerwear for their dogs or warm sleep gear. That's always disturbing. But most do. Nice overnighter for you and the Boom.

Great video - amazing that such an insubstantial tent can build up the heat from the stove! I enjoyed seeing the coffee grinder making an appearance this time around - and your new brewing method is more efficient. Hard to imagine that 'winter' has arrived in the Maritimes... Im down in FL - we just 'weathered' our second hurricane of the year - Nicole this time. Fair amount of rain and wind - but not as much or as strong as Ian.

Love your videos. Your spark arrestor must be awesome to allow for a stove with the nylon tent. As for sleeping with the stove going. In the good ole military you had to have someone awake on fire watch in order to keep the stove going. Seemed ridiculous until you see what happens in a tent fire. The inhabitants never make it to the entrance. The only way out is to roll out under the side. We pushed it and slept with it going, but at -35 it gets cold quick when the fire goes out. We also used Yukon stoves with diesel. Of course the pilots would use JP-4 and eventually JP-8 because it lit easier. I really like your DIY mod on your vestibule. Stay safe. Peace.
