Clear your dash. What looked like a glove was blocking the flow of air to your windshield. The trick is, turn on the defroster on high, crack your windows a bit to control the heat in the cab. But you’ll have a clear windshield

Yeah, get some heat on that windshield to clear the ice/snow. Icey/snowey roads are a problem, but with poor visibility it’s dangerous

Also, putting the visors down will help trap some of the heat to prevent buildup. Slowing the wipers down can help melt some of the buildup off of them and give the snow that hits the windshield more time to melt if the windshield can get warmed enough.

I feel for ya girl, out there straping loads in the cold, my first job was at a trucking company many moons ago lol and at least 2 times a week we would have lumber loads to do, double stacked then would have to plastic then tarp, it was brutal in the winter time, keep them hands warm 😊😊

Put isopropyl alcohol in with your windshield wash, it helps from freezing,use as much as 10% & itwont harm rubber or wipers

A little trick, don’t put your defroster on put a little heat on the floor keep it cool in the truck, when the windshield stays the same temperature as the outside it doesn’t ice up the snow just bounces off.

@bigrigbecca it's working terribly - you might want to have it looked at. Drove from Canada into the US and knew the importance of a defroster, where even a dirty windshield can mean the loss of visability

For everyone who dont know, i was told last winter to put medical gloves on, then put your regular gloves on. Your hands will stay warm and dry . Give it a try, it works for me. I was surprised.
