There is a Spanish dish my father used to make all the time which is basically this without the sauce. It's always cool to see how different cultures from different sides of the planet come up with the same flavor combinations (i.e. green beans + garlic and pepper = awesomeness).

Usually you find that most regions/countries/peoples that live on the same latitudal line or close to the same latitudal line usually have extremely similar cuisines and tastes as well as types of foods like fruits and veggies and the same sort of flavors and tastes in their cuisines which I thought was really really neat personally but check it out look at where you are on the latitudal line or any place with a cuisine you are familiar with and trace the latitude line all the way around the globe and see what cuisines are similar or extremely close to the cuisine you already are familiar with! It's really cool and fun to see how our cultures and cuisines tie together based solely off of where we're located on the this planet

Howdy Pailin, After finding enough beans in the garden for a side dish for leftovers I went to my favorite reference. "Hot Thai Kitchen" but didn't find a stir fry for green beans. So, I went to my back-up. Sure enough, your channel came through. Absolutely perfect sauce! Step daughter ate nearly the entire plate. Thank you so much. I can understand the comfort feel of this dish. Eric
