thanks for posting - have had long-covid for 2 years now. no pre existing conditions and debilitating fatigue, migraines etc.

Thank you for the support and I am so sorry you are dealing with this. Have you seen improvements over the 2 years? I have been dealing with it for 2 years as well.

Im in my 15th month of LC. Im not sure if Im in fase 2 or 3? Since three month I startet to do gentle sport like light fitness and intervall jogging. Since a few days a got some symptom flare ups, I feel more fatigue then the other days, I think that I got closer to my my limit I can do atm. I heart that just a ajustment period and that in a few days my body will bounce back to normal. I hope so and I think so. I had the same experience last week with to much cognetive stimulation and after a few day the fatigue was gone. For me the hardest part in that time is to stay calm and not to stressing to much out. But I know now already that after that illness I will come out stronger, more patient, more loving, just more me who I never was before. In every suffering there is a blessing....... R.i.P to DMX! God bless ya all, you will come out out this storm for sure, God is with us, he will not let us down. Everything happens for a rison. Keep your head up! Love and peace to all beautiful souls out there who are suffering. One day we will sitting and laughing about your experience.

What an incredibly strong mindset you have. That is honestly the most important part to healing from LC in my opinion. I am glad you are able to use suffering and hard times to make you stronger ✊

Hey Brother!! im almost a year in. With long covid. How did you manage nerve pain and muscle twitching. Have it all over my body. Its very scary!!! Thanks for your videos.

Hey Sergio! I am so sorry you are dealing with this and I certainly agree this was one of the scariest symptoms of LC. It caused me a lot of worry and anxiety. I think one of the first steps and probably the most difficult is to stop viewing the symptoms as bad. Instead you must realize your nervous system is sick and is trying to heal and find homeostasis again. Mediation is key for this. If you can just spend time breathing deeply, feeling the symptoms, and remind yourself you are safe your body will get better it will help to start the recovery process. When you are in a constant state of fight or flight/ worry and anxiety it is hard for your nervous system to heal and find balance again. Realizing that this is a marathon and not a sprint also helps. It took me 2 years to recover from this with lots of ups and downs. I also think starting some gentle exercise like walking can be very beneficial for nervous system health. Have you seen improvements in the last few months?

Hey Brother Thanks for the advice !!! Really appreciate it. I have seen some improvement in my vision. I still have a fast heart rate when standing up. Im trying to push my self to walk little more steps every day without having symptoms. Just have this weird vision and head pressure when i stop walking or when standing up and not moving feels like if im going to pass out. It’s just weird!!! Nerve pain is less but muscle twitching is there 24/7. Just praying and living day by day. This has been a nightmare and hopefully will get threw this. I will practice more on my breathing and meditation. Thanks for your videos brother!!

@@sergiobarajas1893 It sounds to me like you have POTS which is a version of dysautonomia (a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system). I had the same exact thing. It means your body is intolerant to standing up and changing position. You must slowly strengthen your nervous system and get your body to calm down. Little things that’s helped me were like I said walking and meditating. Also going outside and just sitting in the sun closing my eyes and letting the sun absorb into my face and skin was very helpful. Getting some sun exposure everyday is also very good to help your nervous system heal and feel safe again. If you treat this like a slow rehabilitation process you will get there. I even did things like me and my wife would play catch with a tennis ball to help my eyes track things and begin to work better. Last but not least just pure rest and lots of time relaxing and remembering you will get better slowly. The belief that you can get better is so important during such dark times. Believe me I was exactly where you were and you can get better with time, patience, and belief.

How long was your average meditation session, and did you also visualize yourself healthy during meditation? Ive read that visualization helps retrain your brain to get back in healthy state

I usually mediated for around 20 min. My main focus was to be as relaxed as possible despite feeling symptoms. To essentially let go of the fear and anxiety despite feeling uncomfortable. And yes picturing my body relaxing and healing. When you are in a relaxed state your brain is more plastic meaning it is more flexible and able to rewire and heal.

@@GM-ub8qy Meditation was only one part of a long recovery process. Meditation will have immediate benefits in terms of relaxing the nervous system and helping oneself to think more clearly, ease pain and anxiety etc. However if we are talking about a full recovery from LC or other chronic illnesses. This process can take many months or a few years.

I did have POTS that was one of the most debilitating symptoms. Can I ask how long you have been dealing with it and how bad it is before giving any advice. Are you able to go on walks for example or does that cause you to crash?

15 months now. Has gotten better slightly. I’m not able to be on my feet for long at all because I start to get pvc type contractions when I do. Just basically been doing light yoga for a year.

At start resting about 50-60. Standing up instantly 130-140. Now same 50-60 resting . 110-120 standing

@@trentsmith-yj5wj I also had a very similar experience I tried to practice very deep breathing when laying down and meditation as well to practice getting into a deep state of relaxation and recovery. I then used walking to slowly build back endurance to being upright. I started with 5 min walks and over months increased my duration to 45 minutes walking. When the walking session was over I would practice then laying down and meditating to help bring my body back down into a state a deep relaxation. Doing yoga is also an amazing practice which should help greatly. Also are you able to sleep at night? I remember never being able to get into deep sleep which is when your body recovers. I think slowly building back endurance through walking could be beneficial.

@@trentsmith-yj5wj Here are a few more of my thoughts on the recovery and POTS. In my opinion what can happen is the virus disrupts your nervous system which control your heart beat, breathing and other autonomic functions we don’t usually think about. Since our nervous system has been damaged or functions like heart beat become abnormal. I for example was having constant muscle twitches as well another sign of an overactive and irregular nervous system. You have to slowly build you strength and endurance back and thus helping your nervous system get stronger and find homeostasis again. It’s a long and difficult process but doable.

This is based on my subjective experience and recovery process. Also in the latest scientific findings on how Covid can cause damage to the central nervous system. I think everyone’s Long Covid case is individual but there certainly are many where the underlying cause is dysregulation in the nervous system and immune system. Neuroinflammation certainly could be a byproduct in many cases.
