They need to let you rip your physical media like they used to back in the day. Especially at the price point they're at these days. I understand their stores quality is better but the option should be there.

Yeah that would be cool but most people that buy this are just in love with the units interface and don’t think much about anything but enjoying the system.

The disk to digital update they just implemented is really good. average cost of the 15 disks i put thru was about $4

@@DreamediaavWhile I am not saying that's wrong. The real answer is less profits for them and it also makes the studios mad. Has little to do with the consumer. If you polled the current customer base. Would importing your current movie collection 4k or otherwise be a feature you would be interested in if provided? I would bet a year's salary the majority would vote yes. Most people will just accept what you give them, if you don't think you have any other options.

Thanks for Information Guys. When you exceed your TB are you able to create space by deleting the movies and reloaded it later without being charged again? Will it always be available for you?

Correct! It you can clear out your movie collection and add movies back anytime. You just have to wait for it to download to the server again. It’s a good way to keep the cost down by getting a smaller size server.

Love everything KScape offers. It is worth the price if its within your budget. Convenience and metadata combined with the best quality available! The UI is CLEAN and user friendly. SO glad I pulled the trigger on this!

I find it kinda therapeutic "breaking" the law, drinking a beer or 3 while I rip my physical media into mkv files that I can play with Plex - better yet, Zidoo. I love my Zidoo medus player. I have the ZX9 and UHD3000.

Well it is defently not streaming system but IMHO, it's an overpriced niche system that comes with an overpriced storage device , and has a content store that sells movies at the same price as you can buy them physically. I won't say PLEX is 100% KD , but it's pretty close and though it is time consuming .. , I'd rather use my spare 10K$ on a beאter projector or better something..

How about they start with Dolby vision. At this price point it literally makes no sense to not support Dolby vision.

@Tulipo08 Projectors don't support Dolby Vision. I wish they did. IE supports both audio and video. Most people can't tell the difference unless comparing Dolby Vision side by side.

@@avtechman77 yeah I hear you but at this price point it needs to have it all. I’d imagine some people own K and use on OLED. I mean you can also make the argument most people wouldn’t be able to tell a difference between a 4k Apple TV iTunes stream and K but we all know the K file is much higher quality. And when you compare to 4k disc it’s even harder to tell a difference I’m sure. 4k disc can come with Dolby vision so why can’t the K??
