Ya know..Andy Griffith brought me here😂 was watching the show when he was helping Opie with long division, and it occurred to me..I’m 24 years old, in college, and don’t remember whatsoever how to do long division..kinda felt bad, so I KZbind some videos and they were all for kids, so naturally I start feeling worse🤣..then I found yours that was pretty general so now I don’t have to tell anyone that, A: I didn’t know how to do long division, and B: I had to watch a kids video to learn😂😂😂 this is much appreciated

19 years old currently studying for 4th class Power Engineering. Doing my Preparatory Math Topics Unit and am embarrassed of how bad my math has gotten over a single gap year... Math became so advanced in high school that you quickly forget the simple stuff. I have literally forgotten how to process subtraction, division, and multiplication with big numbers :( It is quickly coming back with the help of your videos however!

There is alot incorrect with your paragraph, here is a correct version of your sentence. “The last time I had to do division by hand was about 12 years ago. That is, it would have been, if I hadn’t completely by chance tried doing the numbers on a bill on a napkin. My mind went blank. Thanks.” Changes made: Added a comma after “That is” for better sentence flow. Changed “it would be if,” to “it would have been, if” for grammatical correctness. Thank you so much. I moved schools as a kid and they had already taught the kids this at my new school, making me behind everyone else. That, along with just hitting puberty is right when/why i stopped paying attention as much. Need to join the military, and not only pass, but get a good score, to land a good job while in…..or be super poor and struggle the rest my life
