Absolute magical stuff Dan (&Pops)! A brilliant encounter and some stunning footage abd shots. Some unusual poses which makes a nice change, and Ithink the first time I can say that I've actually seen an owl's ear. Fantastic stuff mate, really special. Keep on keeping on mate! Best, Nick

We see LEOs round our way occasionally, so it's great to see them holding their own in the landscape. The useful tip about being partly concealed behind a stone wall is great - it works for me with the Little Owls too. Like seeing the both of you with broad smiles across your faces too!

Hi Dan …. excellent video of LEOs, a particularly elusive species for me which I don’t see every year. If I do, it is usually a very obscured bird roosting deep in a hawthorn hedge or similar! Autofocus doesn't work for some reason 😂I can’t believe that you had a bird sit out in the open like that. Amazing photography from you and Pops yet again 🙂 And just as an added bonus for you …. that Stoat 🙂 I loved the photo where it looked like the LEO was laughing. Maybe it had just watched that video from the Kestrel hide where you played that trick on Pops 😂
