Yes. It is a great city. I used to live in Varese nearby when I was a child. Thank you for bringing back memories Attilio. If I was in Milan now I would love to do a long exposure in the Galleria. I have fond memories of spending time there with my father in the 1960s.

I haven’t been to Milan, but I have heard that it’s stunning. My first trip to Italy was Sorrento in 1973, and fell in love with Italy immediately. We have also been to Florence which was a very memorable experience. It was was nice to see that you were able to get an image in the end. Bravo.

Milano is a beautiful city! I did a road trip through "upper Italy" with my motorbike last year in September. At the Duomo di Milano I took my long exposure which turned out to be marvelous. Greeting from Munich.

I've never been to Milan, but I have been to Bologna, Firenze, Roma, Napoli and many smaller cities and villages. Milan looks very interesting from a photographers point of view, so I will definitely visit some day. Hoping we will be able to travel abroad at the end of the year!

Great shot, Attilo. Also, pretty cool that this wasn't an April Fool's video. I think the tripod shake convinces me that taking multiple shots (w/o an ND filter) and averaging them out in post to simulate long exposure (which is what I have been doing) is sometimes safer.

The city lights really add another dimension to the architecture in your photo. I began experimenting with long exposures at night while traveling in 2019 to capture another side of the towns I was writing about. Hoping to get back into it sometime this year.

Great video and awesome location, Attilio. As a mirrorless shooter, I often ruin my long exposures taken with my older high-resolution Nikon D800 DSLR by forgetting to close the viewfinder before shooting. It is really frustrating to wait four or five minutes and then realize my light leak mistake. I just purchased a used Fuji XT2 and have been blown away at the colors I get with a 16mm 1.4 lens and a 10 stop filter. So much fun to try different effects in long exposures. After seeing this video, you have given me ideas for some nighttime exposures.

A great video. I would like to do more cityscape photography. Love architecture and city lights. Nice add on to nature long exposure. Good idea to get rid off people in your scene or shoot multiple exposures and use layers to remove people, by combining exposures.
