I use to have super strong natural nails, I never had acrylic only press ons, fast forward I had two sets done and my nails were trashed!!! Thin & brittle. I started using dip powder to try and bring back my nails and I must say I’m so happy I could cry, my nails look amazing and are longer than ever!!

I have to back this up 🙌🏻 I started using dip powder 3.5 weeks ago, I used tips because obviously I had no nails at all lol 3.5 weeks later it was time for soak off for a fresh new color...boom my nails had grown significantly! They were not fragile or flimsy or delicate, they were perfect!

I'm excited to grow my nails out with dip powder. I never had an issue growing my nails long but I would ALWAYS find a way to break one while doing something. The powder is great because it's hard and is equivalent to a phone case but for your nails 😅😅 Now I don't have to worry about breaking a nail when doing daily chores and tasks. Best investment ever!

Morning Dew Dymond if you don’t use the right remova process, it can damage your nails, but that’s just like acrylic or even some gel polishes!! Soak in acetone for 15 mins to remove and it’s more than enough :)

I had trouble with cheaper products; since I switched to Kiara Sky I have no lifting problems as long as I properly prep my nails. That includes pushing the cuticle back and scraping off any skin attached to the nail and roughing up the nail bed. I also try to only put one layer close to the cuticle; the rest I come back off the cuticle a little so it's not so thick towards the back. I also wipe the bare nails down with alcohol before doing Step 1. I love Kiara Sky. My manicures last 3-4 weeks.

Hi! Just curious why the base and top coat brushes become hardened while in use? I will put the brushes in the brush saver and let it sit, shake it. It helps slightly but i feel once i start usage again, the tip of the brush clumps together leaving the application of either base of top coat very uneven. I have even replaced the base brush 2x and have even purchased a whole new bottle thinking i may have just had an odd bottle. Any thoughts on what is happening and how to fix! I truly love the dip system and dont want to give up using it but i just might if i cant figure out whats going with the brush application!! Thanks in advance!!!
@annacobb96316 жыл бұрын
Kayla Moniz I had some issues with that as well when I started using the dip powders until I figured out my problem. The product in the base and top coats are a resin, so it will dry when left out of the bottle too long. It sounds to me like you are allowing the brush out too long and the resin is drying on the brush. Try being quick when you apply and put it right back in the bottle to avoid that! Hope this helps. :)
@kaylamoniz65446 жыл бұрын
Anna Cobb okay I’m going to try that! I must say I am a perfectionist so I wouldn’t doubt if I was taking too much time with application 🙌🏼 thanks for your reply!

I'm trying to learn how to do this on my own nails and it hasn't turned out as nice as yours. I'm not investing in the Kiara system until I master this because I don't want to waste product. LOL! The problems that I keep having are: 1. After the first dip into the powder, my nail comes out partly covered, especially near the side walls. 2. When I tap the finger to remove excess powder, it won't come off. When I go to brush it, almost all of the powder comes off...which leads to the last problem.... 3. By the time I get "decent" coverage, I have a bumpy, lumpy nail nightmare that needs 3 hrs of filing down! Oh, not 3 HOURS but it takes forever! I know its 95% user error...but could it be cheap product also!? Sorry for the novel! I just want to perfect this so I can purchase your product. The wait is killing me!!

I remember commenting on the video asking for help. It takes practice, I gain more confidence and more skill every time I do a fill-in. The amount of ‘wasted’ product hasn’t put a dent in my first purchase. I purchased mines at the end of the month of May 2018 (as a point of reference), I fill-in my nails very three weeks. Allow yourself time to learn.

@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jessica! You definitely can apply Lacquer or gel over Dip. What you would need to do is create a foundation, so add the base and then the natural powder (layer up as much as you would like) and then apply the seal protect, file/shape/buff, and then apply the Lacquer! We will look into creating a video for it ☺️
@homelessme15 жыл бұрын
@@KiaraSkyNails Thank you so much for responding! Could I use the dip powder top coat over the regular nail polish? Or do I have to use a regular top coat? Thanks so much for your help :)
@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
@@homelessme1 - Of course! Always here to help 💕 So the tricky thing about using the Dip Top Coat over anything but Dip Powder is you do still need to use the Seal Protect. The Seal Protect activates the Dip Powder (reason for first application before buffing/shaping) and helps activate the Top Coat to dry (Reason for the second application of Seal Protect after filing/buffing). We haven't really tested the Dip Top Coat on top of gel or lacquer, so I am not sure how the Seal Protect would work on the nail, but you can always try it and see ☺️ Just make sure you treat it the same, apply the Seal Protect and then rub it in with a lint-free cloth, let it dry a little bit and then apply the Dip Top Coat.

Hi Bestie💕 For the lifting issue, you want to make sure you do not get any of the products on the cuticle. As the nails grow out that can lead to lifting away from the cuticle. For the color issue, always make sure you cap the color with clear powder - this helps keep its true hue☺️

How many times can you do this? Is it safe to just keep adding to the growth?
@KiaraSkyNails5 жыл бұрын
